"At the invitation of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Iraq, Jalal Talabani, leaders of political blocs met at the headquarters of the Presidency to discuss the training of Iraqi forces assisted the U.S. side.
Based on the approach of the end of the security agreement in 2011 between Iraq and the United States and the consensus of the parties to achieve full sovereignty, the leaders agreed on the need to train Iraqi troops and complete the processing as soon as possible and the need to support efforts by the Iraqi government and its discussions in this regard. The meeting agreed on the need not to grant immunity.
In addition, the proposed training must be conducted on Iraqi installations only, and that training is envisaged must be designed to ensure that the Iraqi armed forces will be professional and professional in all its different forms, and works under the Constitution and is able to deter any threat against the security of Iraq's internal and external, and to maintain the integrity of its territories, waters and skies, and its constitutional democracy.
