Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, said “we arrested the baathists before the American withdraw so that nobody says the government benefited from the withdrawal.”He compared the Baath Party with the Nazis in Germany, explaining that the baath is a constitutionally banned party in Iraq.
